TVS motor India has revealed their first electric scooter debuted iQube in last year January 2020 and now its reach to be expanded in top cities including Delhi-NCR region soon.

The brand has started things with 10 dealerships and many outdoor charging points in Karnataka. TVS retails iQube priced at Rs 1.15 lakhs on-road in Bengaluru. It is powered with a 4.4 KW electric motor and lithium-ion battery pack, which helps iQube delivering 75km of range in a single full charge. The Claimed top speed for iQube rated at 78 Kmph. Although the Scooter has zero-emission, TVS made more futuristic changes to technology and connectivity. It comes equipped with a navigation feature, Smart Xconnect Bluetooth, 2 drive modes, Day and night display, location finder, USB, park assist reserve gear feature, etc.

The iQube claimed to go from 0 – 100kmph in just 4.2 Seconds in sports mode and 7.5 Seconds in Eco mode. It also featured technology like regenerative energy braking mechanism, speed alert, range indicator, etc. The TVS iQube App enables you to find the nearest charging station and smart home charging units. It rivals the likes of, Bajaj Chetak and Ather 450X. The TVS electric scooter name made its domestic debut in the 2014 Auto Expo. It features, LED headlamp, iQube badge, iQube electric written on sides, LED taillights, U-shaped DRLs, single-piece grab rail, illuminated logo, a digital instrument cluster, black switchgear, and the list goes on and on.

The iQube plugged into the regular IEC 60309 charging socket or public charging stations. It generates power from 3 batteries, two under the seat and one under the floorboard. It also has underneath seat storage of standard 16 liters and the convenience of the USB charging port. It will be launching in Delhi-Ncr later in Mid-2021, with the same pricing. Also, the brand in process of making 20 charging stations in Delhi to attract more customers, and they Don’t take electric iQube as a fear.
