Toyota has recently launched the Toyota Yaris facelift, called Vios in the Philippines. Vios is the 2nd variation to the mid-size sedan which was originally launched in the year 2013.

What are the changes in this new facelift?
The most notable changes that can be seen are the new bumper, new LED headlamps, and an updated upper grille. The redesigned bumper features a trapezoidal central air dam with a fog lamp housed in a bent L shaped recesses on both the ends.
As in the performance and engine aspect, everything almost remains the same as the previous version, with the addition of android auto support. The interior also remains the same with the same feature as before like 7 airbags, cruise control, etc.


What are its engine specifications?
As before the Toyota Vios comes in 2 engine variants 1.3-litre and 1.5-litre, where the lower end produces a power of 98hp and 123Nm and the higher end produces a power of 106hp and 140Nm. Both engines can be bought with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox.

Will this car be available in India and at what price?
Toyota has till now not made any official announcement regarding the launch or the pricing of the facelifted Yaris in India, yet. Although the current, India-spec Yaris has been on sale in India since 2018 and hasn’t been able to sell in quite the same numbers as its established rivals.
