The company Toyota Kirloskar Motors has recently announced the recalled of its subcompact SUV Toyota Urban Cruiser which was produced between the time period of July 28, 2020, and February 11, 2021. Although, the Toyota Urban Cruiser is the identical twin of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza but the Maruti twin still remains unaffected by this issue.
The Toyota Urban Cruiser recalled issue mentioned by the company is regarding the faulty Airbag setup applied on the driver side of the car, however, no more detail has been revealed regarding the issue about what is the specific issue regarding the airbag problem. Toyota has confirmed that this part replaced will be done free of cost and without any service or any additional hidden costs, however, the company hasn’t specified what problem you will be facing if the part isn’t replaced.
And as for the procedure of this fix, the owner who will be affected by this issue will be called or mailed by the dealership from which they bought their Urban Cruiser, after which they will provide you the time period on which you can be your car for the checkup.
