Skoda Kodiaq was first launched in India in 2016, and almost five years the Czech manufacturer introducing the facelift version of the SUV Kodiaq. The updated facelift version gets plenty of new features as compared with the ongoing model, on the interior as well as on the interior.Here, we put together the Top 5 things to know about the upcoming 2021 Skoda Kodiaq facelift model: –
- Exterior Update
The 2021 Skoda Kodiaq facelift gets a tweak over the exterior design including LED headlamps, LED taillights, upright front grille, along with redesigned bumper at the front and rear. The SUV gets the cool-looking SKODA lettering on the tailgate.
- Interior update
The 2021 Skoda Kodiaq cabin gets the new two-spoke steering wheel, which also is seen in the 2021 Octavia and New upcoming Mid-Size SUV Kushaq as well, while the Sportline and RS trims will be having the same three spokes steering wheel. The dashboard design remains the same as the older version and, the facelift version gets the ambient lighting. The SUV also gets the option for Eco-friendly seats, which are specially made from vegetable waste materials.
The New Skoda Kodiaq gets the new premium features which include, 8-inch infotainment touchscreen as standard, and optional 9.2-inch infotainment for higher trims. The vehicle also gets a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a new 10-speaker audio system, ventilated seats with massage function, LED matrix headlamps, and so on.
The 2021 Skoda Kodiaq comes with two petrol engines and one diesel engine option, which are 1.5 Litre TSI and 2.0 Litre TSI petrol mill, which develop 150PS and 190 PS of power. On the other hand, it also offers a 2.0 diesel engine in two different tune states – 150PS and 200 PS, along with the performance-oriented Kodiaq RS gets a 2.0 Litre TSI oil burner which produces 245 PS of power.

It’s been confirmed by Skoda Auto India’s marketing and sales director that the facelift version of Kodiaq will also be launch in India around the three quarter of this year itself. Upon launch, the SUV sets to rival with Volkswagen Tiguan all space, Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, etc.
