Hero Splendor once again finished at the top of 10 two-wheelers sold in august 2021, ahead of Honda Activa, Honda CB Shine, Hero HF deluxe, and so on.

  • Hero Splendor dispatched 2,41,703 units in august 2021
  • Bajaj pulsar and Platine finished at fifth and sixth position
  • Last position is taken by Honda Dio with registering 26,897 units last month

In August 2021 once again Hero Splendor Series outsold every other bike in India. Hero Splendor led the two-wheeler segment with dispatching over 2.41 lakh units last month as against 2.32 lakh units sold during the same month last year generating a positive sales growth by 4 percent on a year-on-year basis. While the second position is taken by Honda Activa with registering 2,04,659 units last month as against 1,93,607 units during the same month last year. Although, Activa saw a positive growth by 5.4 percent more than Splendor its sale is separated from Splendor by 37,000 units.

10 Two-wheelers sold in august 2021

Honda CB Shine finished at third position with its impressive 22 percent sales growth on a YoY basis. As it garnered 1,29,929 units in august 2021 when compared with august 2020 it sold 1,03,133 units. The fourth position is taken by another Hero HF Deluxe as it sold 1,14,575 units in august 2021 against 1,77,168 units twelve months back getting a decline by 35 percent. The fifth position is held by the Bajaj Pulsar series with registering 66,107 units against 87,202 units during the same month last year getting a degrowth of 24.1 percent on a YoY basis.

Although in the second half of the table Bajaj Platina registered healthy positive growth in its sales when compared on YoY basis. Platina garnered 56,615 units last month as against 40,294 units twelve months back, getting a 40.5 percent positive growth. The seventh position is taken by TVS XL100 with 52,607 units sold. While in august 2020 TVS dispatched 70,126 units resulting in negative sales growth of 24.9 percent. Suzuki Access posted 49,135 units last month as against 41,484 units during the same month last year resulting in a growth of 18 %. The ninth and tenth position is taken by TVS Jupiter and Honda Dio. Former dispatched 45,625 units while the latter dispatched 26,897 units in august 2021.
