March 2021 ended with a rather vivid and joyful month for the Indian automobile industry, with many companies achieving major YoY growth than the last year, the FY2020-21 ends with a major achievement for the automobile industry. However, the trend of the all-famous SUV segment still overshadows all the other segments. So, we bring you a list of Top 10 SUV for March 2021 based on their sales for all the SUV enthusiasts and one honorable mention which however didn’t make it into this list but achieved an astronomical YoY growth last month.

Still retaining the number 1 position we have the well-known and well-received Hyundai Creta selling a total of 12,640 units compared to March 2020 sale of 6,706 units translating to YoY growth of 88%. At the number 2 spot, we have the Maruti Vitara Brezza selling a total of 11,274 units last month compared to last year’s March sale of 5,513 units making a YoY growth of 104%. At the 3rd position, we have another Hyundai car, the Hyundai Venue obtaining a YoY growth of 75% and selling 10,722 units last month compared to 6,127 units sold last year same time.

At the number 4 spot we have the Hyundai Creta cousin, Kia Seltos gathering a YoY growth of 41.6% i.e., selling 10,577 units last month compared to 7,466 units last year. Next on this list, we have the Tata Nexon selling 8,683 units last month and obtaining a YoY growth of 228%.
For our honourable mention, we have the style icon of SUVs the Mahindra Scorpio which although didn’t make it into this list but impressed us with its towering YoY growth of 5727%, selling a total of 2,331 units last month compared to 40 units sold last year at the same period.
