After the release of the monthly sales by the manufacturer, here we put together the Top 10 sedans sold in June 2021. Maruti Dzire yet again leading the chart.

- Skoda Octavia comes at the tenth position with just 117 units
Maruti Suzuki Sedan Dzire yet again finished the monthly sales in the top with over 12,000 units were sold, against 5,834 units sold in the same month last year resulting in YOY positive sales growth of 116.6 percent. Maruti Dzire is long been the sedan segment king for a long time now and no other brand has an answer for this domination. At the second position, we have Hyundai Aura, which makes its debut last year replacing Xcent. Hyundai retails 3,126 units of Aura last month against 1,016 units in the corresponding month last year resulting in a YOY growth of 207.6 percent.

Third position in the top 10 sedans taken by Japanese manufacturer Honda City, as it dispatched 2,571 units of City against 585 units back in June 2020, getting a massive growth of 339.4 percent on a YOY basis. The fourth position is taken by City rival Hyundai Verna, which sold 2,181 units last month, getting 101 percent of growth on a YOY basis. On the other hand, another Japanese sedan Honda Amaze finished at fifth position with massive and the highest positive sales growth of 969.7 percent. As Honda dispatched 1,487 units of Amaze against 139 units sold in June 2020.
The Homegrown brand Tata Tigor registered only 1,076 units against 553 units in the corresponding month last year, getting a YOY growth of 94.5 percent on a YOY basis. The Verna and City rival Maruti Suzuki Nexa Ciaz only manages to sell 602 units last month. While, on the other hand, the German sedans saw a negative sale as Skoda rapid just sold 454 units and Volkswagen Vento registered only 178 units last month. The former getting a decline of 21.3 percent and the latter gets a decline of 36.8 percent. At the tenth position, we have a Skoda Octavia, which manages to sell only 117 units against 21 units in June 2020, getting 457 percent of sales growth.
