Last month was the end of the weirdest financial year (FY2020-21) of the decade, where the market even being hit by the point of 0 sale due to obvious reasons managed to make a profit towards the end. However, the highlight of this magical recovery was the craze of Indian buyers towards the SUV segment and to be precise the compact SUV segment. So, today to honour these soldiers we bring you the Top 10 Most sold Compact SUV March 2021.

To start we this list at the number 1 position we have the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza selling in a total of 11,274 units last month compared to the sale of 5,513 units in March 2020, translating to YoY growth of 104%. At the second spot we have the Hyundai Venue selling a grand total of 10,722 units in March 2021 compared to 6,127 units sold in March 2020, and gaining a YoY growth of 75%. Next on the list we have the Tata Nexon with a massive YoY growth of 228% by selling 8,683 units in last month compared to 2,646 units in last year March.

Top 10 Most sold Compact SUV March 2021

Following the Nexon is the Hyundai cousin, Kia with its somewhat newer entry Kia Sonet, which sold a total of 8,498 units in last month. At the number 5 spot we have Ford EcoSport selling in a total of 5,487 units and achieving a YoY growth percentage of 150%. At the number 6, 7 and 8 position we have rather newer entries which are the Renault Kiger launched just a month ago and sold 3,839 units, Toyota Urban Cruiser or Toyota’s version of Brezza which sold a total of 3,162 units last month, and Nissan Magnite which is still suffering from its lack of production met with delivery, that sold a total of 2,987 units in March 2020.

At the number 9 position we have Mahindra XUV300 selling a total of 2,587 units and achieving a YoY growth of 218%. And lastly we have the Honda WR-V, which is the only car in this list with a 3 digit value that sold 978 units compared to only 86 units last year March.
