Yet again Hyundai Creta was the top 10 midsize SUVs in the calendar year 2021. In CY2021 Hyundai sold 1,25,437 units of Creta against 96,989 units with getting a year-on-year growth of 29.3%.
In the calendar year, the Hyundai Motor India limited at the Creta as the bestselling SUV in the mid-size segment. The 5-seater SUV recorded a massive 29.3% positive sales growth in the calendar year 2021. Its cousin or sibling Kia Seltos finished as the second position as it sold 98,187 units in the calendar year 2021 against 96932 units in the calendar year 2022 and get a positive sales growth of 1% on a year-on-year basis.

Third position is taken by Mahindra and Mahindra’s most popular SUV Scorpio with dispatching 36,945 units against 31240 units and registering a massive year-on-year sales growth of 18.2%. 4th position is taken by Chinese SUV hector with registering 31509 units in the calendar year 2021 against 25,935 units 2020 resulting in positive sales growth by 21.4%, in Top 10 MidSize SUVs.

The fifth position is taken by homegrown manufacturer Tata Harrier which recorded 28,038 units in 2021 against 14071 units in 2020 resulting in 99% positive sales growth. The sixth position is taken by another Korean SUV Alcazar which registered 17,708 units in the Top 10 MidSize SUVs for the calendar year 2021.

Seven spots are taken by cranes Republic Skoda Kushaq which sold 14013 units in the calendar year 2021. The 8th spot is taken by last year’s launched Mahindra XUV700. The SUV recorded 11,964 units in the calendar year 2021. Nine positions are taken by American manufacturer Jeep Compass, and the 10th position is taken by Tata safari. The former registered 11,652 units against 5209 units resulting in 123.6% year-on-year growth. While the latter registered 10,358 units in the Top 10 MidSize SUVs.
