The Mid-Size SUV segment is currently the hottest in the Indian market after compact SUV space. Last month was no different in terms of competition in sales. After a few months, Kia Seltos regains its first position in the list beating its sibling by a huge margin. Kia Seltos sold 10,488 units and finished at the top of the top 10 Mid-Size SUV sold in October 2021.

While compared with the same month last year it registered 8,900 units in October 2020 registering a year-on-year growth of 17.8 percent. The Hyundai Creta king of the segment finished at second position with registering 6,455 units against 14,023 units during the same corresponding month last year resulting in year-on-year degrowth of 53.9 percent. Although, the recently launched Mahindra XUV700 garnered 3,407 units last month and finished at third position. The fourth position is taken by XUV700 smaller but very popular sibling Mahindra Scorpio in the top 10 SUV October 2021.

It finishes the month garnering 3,304 units last month against 3,961 units during the same month last year resulting in minor degrowth by 16.5 percent. While the fifth position in the top 10 Mid-Size SUV in October 2021 was taken by Tata Harrier. Harrier registering 3,097 units against 2,398 units during the same month last year getting 29% massive growth on a YoY basis

In the last five-position second half of the top 10 SUV October 2021 table, we have three newly launched SUVs. The sixth position was taken by Volkswagen’s newly launched Taigun with registering 2,551 units last month. The seventh position was taken by MG Hector with garnering 2,478 units against 3,625 units in October 2020 getting 31.6% degrowth. While eighth and ninth positions are taken by Skoda Kushaq and tata safari.The former registering 2,413 units and the latter one resulting 1,735 units. Last position in the list taken by Maruti Suzuki not so popular S-Cross with 1,524 units against 2,526 units.
