Jeep has finally Unveiled its 2021 version of the mid-cycle facelift Jeep Compass which is going to be launched in mid-February 2021. This compact crossover SUV to say it bluntly gets a reworked exterior, improved interior, and a buttload of features when compared to its predecessor.

Let us now look at the exteriors first, here we get some minor tweaks like the redesigned headlamps with integrated LED DRLs at the top, slightly tweaked grille, newly designed Fog lamp housing, and a new front bumper with blacked out wide air damps in addition to these changes the car also comes with new 18-inch alloy wheels. This is the extent to where the changes are spread, other than that no other change is made for the side and rear profile.

Now coming to the interior, here is where the real upgrades tend to show themselves more vividly with the first noticeable change coming to its infotainment system which now comes with a 10.1-inch touchscreen equipped with FCA’s Uconnect 5 technology, built-in Amazon Alexa, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto support, a 10.25-inch instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, wireless charging, 360° parking camera, leather finish to the interior and much more. For its safety features the 2021 Jeep compass unveiled, comprises of 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, cruise control, traction control, hill-start assist, auto rain-sensing wipers, auto headlamps, and ISOFIX child seat mount.

The 2021 jeep compass will be available in two engine variants first being the 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine capable of producing 163hp of power and optimum torque of 250Nm, coupled with either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed automatic transmission gearbox, the second engine variant is the 2.0-litre diesel engine that can produce up to 173hp of power and 350Nm of peak torque, coupled with either a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed torque converter automatic transmission gearbox. The diesel variant of the 2021 Jeep Compass also comes with a 4WD system with some ground specific drive modes.

As for its competition, the New Jeep Compass will be competing against other crossovers like the Hyundai Tucson and Skoda Karoq.
