Tesla’s first-ever pick-up truck named Cybertruck has over 1million bookings already been made and still counting.

Tesla back in 2019, revealed the concept version of their first-ever pick-up truck codenamed Cybertruck. AT the concept unveiling create a buzz all around the globe for its edgy design features and more powerful rang top-end trim powered with the three-electric motor set up, which develops a driving range of 805 km in a single charge. Also, the cybertruck gets an armored glass 6-seating configuration and lots more. The edgy design has been loved by the customers, as according to the Teslarati, the truck reservation tracker websites estimate that the reservations have now crossed 1million units.

However, it should be noted that the reservation cost for the cybertruck is just $100 USD dollars, and it includes the people who are not necessarily willing to buy the cybertruck, but still, the numbers aren’t that bad also for the manufacturer. According, to the cybertruck reservation tracker website 48 percent of bookings were made for the mid-range Dual motor setup variant, 44.5 percent of bookings are for the three-motor top range variant, and the remaining 7.5 percent were made for the entry-level variant with the single motor set up. The interesting fact is74.3 percent of books for the self-driving option. Tesla currently offers Cybertruck in three variants.

The entry-level variant with a single motor has a claimed range of around 402 km and delivering power to rear wheels. The second is a Mid-range variant with the dual-electric motor set up that delivers power to all-wheels and has a claimed range of 483 km in a single charge. The third is the top-end variant, which features the three-motor set up delivering power to all-wheels and has a claimed driving range of around 805 km in a single charge. The range-topping variants can sprint from 0 to 100 Kmph in just 2.9 seconds with a towing capacity of 6350 Kg. Tesla retails cybertruck with a base price of $39,990, although the launch timeline hasn’t been revealed yet.
