TATA launched compact sub-4m sedan Tigor in 2017. It is based on the Tata motors entry-level hatchback Tiago. The front of this car is completely inspired from Tiago with chromed honeycomb grille mesh, long sleek Projector headlamps with fog lamps placed at the lower end of bumper. The rear gets the split-tail lamps with high mounted stop lamp as well. The side profile gets a long C-shaped design from door windows and a straight edge body curve from tail lamps to the front fender with door handles integrated into that gives the impression of a single side body design.
Interior of the car is also well furnished having ample of legroom and headroom having lots of storage spaces with the biggest glove box. As TATA is known for its build quality, Tiago performed great in Global NCAP safety rating securing 4-stars. Tata Tigor comes in 6-Variants with Petrol engine attached with manual or automatic transmission. TATA also added Tigor EV to its electric car line-up. Ex-showroom price of tigor ranges from Rs. 5.39 lakhs to 7.49 lakhs.
