Homegrown manufacturer Tata motors silently launched Tiago XTO variant in the Indian market, priced at Rs 5.47 lakh ex-showroom.

Homegrown automaker Tata Motors has silently added the new variant in India’s safest hatchback Tiago line-up. Tata launched the XTO variant of Tiago in the Indian market priced at Rs 5.47 lakh ex-showroom. As the lockdown is lifted in many states auto market slowly gaining a good position in India. In the last few weeks, many brands have launched their new product in India, and in the second half of the year many more products are arriving, hopes to grab the good sales figures. Tata has often introduced many new trims and variants to its line-up and it has helped the brand to post good sales numbers.

Just a few months back tata has launched the new variant of Tiago and added some new paint jobs with it. Now tata launched another variant XTO to the Tiago portfolio which is positioned just below the XT variant. The New XTO variant misses out on many features like Bluetooth, connectivity, Harman Kardon audio system, speed-based volume control, and much more. The Tiago XTO variant features steering mounted audio control, and four speakers. XTO variant is Rs 15,000 cheaper than the XT variant Currently, the safest hatchback offered in XE, XT, XZ, XTA, XZ plus, XZ-plus dual-tone, XZA, XZA plus, and XZA plus dual-tone.

As for performance no changes have been done, Tiago continues to powered by a 1.2 Litre four-cylinder petrol engine, which belts out 85 HP of maximum power and 113 Nm of peak torque. The powertrain comes paired with standard five-speed manual transmission and an optional AMT. Tiago was first introduced back in 2016 and followed a new design concept as seen in Tigor, Nexon, and Altroz. Tata recently launched Tata safari and the iTurbo variant of Altroz in India. As, for the future, the brand is expected o launch the Micro-SUV named Hornbill or HBX in the Indian market later this year.
