Well, the tata PUNCH offered with sole 1.2 Litre three-cylinder petrol engine, which develops 86 PS of maximum power and 113 Nm of peak torque. The transmission coupled with 5-speed MT standard and optional AMT. While, it suits for the city or commuter driving but for people on open road want a little more power. It could have been offered with 1.2 Litre turbocharged petrol engine as well.

  • AMT gearbox

There are two transmission gearbox system 5-speed MT and optional AMT. While, the 5-speed MT is very fine and give a good response but same not for the AMT variant.

  • Cabin room

Although, Tata PUNCH measures 3.8 meters in length but it has 2.4 meters wheelbase in length, which is quite small for proper 5-seater vehicle. Other than that, the rear passenger hasn’t had the 3-point seat belt and headrest. However, 3 passengers at the back will be hassle for short and longer ride.

Many buyers are happy with the introductory price which starts from Rs 5.49 lakh for base PURE variant, adventure Rs 6.39 lakh to Rs 6.99 lakh.
