Tata Motors has been maintaining its 3rd position of the total Automobile market shareholder, which only gets beaten by Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai Motors. April was a rather tough month for the Tata company where all of its cars registered negative sales compared to that of the month March 2021 where some models even recorded their all-time high sale in the month of March. The Tata Nexon became the best-selling car of the month for Tata, with a sale of about 7,000 units in April 2021.
The Tata Nexon to be exact recorded a sale of 6,938 units for April 2021 compared to the sale of 8,683 units in March 2021, translating to a MoM growth of -20.09 per cent which more like a decline instead of growth.
Talking about the car, the Nexon comes with 2 engine options – first being the 1.2 Litre 3-cylinder turbocharged Revotron Petrol engine generating 118-bhp Power and 170-Nm torque. And the other one being a 1.5 Litre 4-cylinder Turbocharged Revotorq Diesel engine generating 108-bhp power and 260-Nm torque.
