Tata Motors homegrown manufacturer has revealed their sales figures for last month March 2021.

Tata Motors India continues its good run at the top of the sales chart in recent months. The manufacturer has a three digital sales growth in last almost every month compared on MOM and YOY basis. Last month the manufacturer sales up by massive three-digit 422 percent positive sales growth compared on a year-on-year basis. In March 2020, last year due to the health crisis the automobile and many other industries were being on halt, so it is obvious to see a huge sale up, as the things after few months were gradually back up to normal. That being said, it is obvious to see three digital sales up by mostly every manufacturer in the Indian market as well as in global market sales.

Tata Motors recorded a total domestic cumulative sale of 29,655 units last month against 5,676 units of cars in the same period last year in March 2020, with a massive sales jump of 422 percent compared on a year-on-year basis. On the other hand, the MOM sales analysis shows the real picture of how the auto sector has been recovering and generating good sales figures in the past six months of the time period. Tata registered a cumulative domestic sale of 27,224 units of the car in Feb 2021, getting a 9 percent positive sales growth on a month-on-month comparison.

Although, last month the company had an overall market share of 9.3 percent against 4 percent during the same period in the corresponding month last year. Tata ranked at third position in the overall best-selling manufacturer of the month chart with a sizeable gap of 10,500 units of the car over south Korean brand Kia Motors. On the other hand, Kia motors finished last month ahead of Mahindra, Toyota and Renault Motors which finished at fifth, sixth and seventh position in the chart. The main reason for the tata sales for last month was the launch of seven-seater MPV safari, which has been well received by the buyers, along with Premium hatch Altroz and compact SUV Nexon also providing consistent volume to the brand over few months. As for the future plans, tata working on launching a Micro-SUV Tata Hornbill in the second part of the year in the domestic market, which will also boost the sales volume.
