Tata Motor’s Vice President Global Design, Pratap Bose resigned from the company earlier this week after his long-serving period of 14 years. As said by the company Pratap Bose has resigned from Tata Motors for achieving better opportunities and will proceed on leave for the remainder of his period. This position will now be taken over by the head of the UK design centre Martin Uhlarik.
Pratap Bose was a very important part of the Tata Motors group, and thanks to its Impact Design on which many cars were built like the Tata Tiago, Tata Nexon facelift, Tata Tigor facelift, Tata Harrier and Tata Safari were all part of its design. In its serving period, Tata even reached 3rd position on the Market share list on car manufacturers India, only exceeded by Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai motors.
Pratap Bose was also recently nominated for the award of the World Car Person for the year 2021. And with the leave of Global VP design, now the company is also searching for a qualified person who will now be acting as the new Managing Director of the Tata Motor group.
Earlier, the company announced that Marc Llistosella, will be joining Tata Motors as the new CEO and Managing Director which was going to be effective from July 1, 2021, however, now the news is coming that Marc Llistosella will not be joining the company as its CEO and Managing Director. Guenter Butschek will only be continuing as the CEO & Managing Director till 30th June 2021.
