Tata Altroz iTurbo variant has been revealed on customers’ demand. Also, a new XZ+ variant has been added to the Top-spec trim line-up.

Tata motors starting their 2021 calendar year on customer demand and expand the line-up of Altroz, debuting the iTurbo charged variant in the line-up, which further adds up new trim and a number of new features. The bookings for the iTurbo variant have been started from 14th January 2021, with the minimal amount of Rs 11,000 to your nearest dealerships. The tata Altroz iTurbo powered by a 1.2 Litre turbocharged Revotron petrol engine, which produces 110 PS of maximum power at 5500 Rpm and 140 Nm of peak torque between 1500 to 5500 Rpm.
In comparison with the regular 1.2 Litre naturally aspirated petrol engine unit, which generates 86 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque, the turbocharged petrol engine burns out 28 percent more power and 24 percent more torque. The transmission duties, for now, are performed by the 5-speed manual gearbox, although later the DCT(Dual-clutch automatic) gearbox will be offered for top-end trims. The new iTurbo claimed to go from 0 to 100 Kmph in just 12 seconds. Currently, the Altroz price ranges between Rs 5.44 lakhs for the base and Rs 9.09 lakhs for the top trim (All the prices are ex-showroom) across the trim lineup.
With the new iTurbo engine, Altroz also offers new color schemes including Harbour Blue, Downtown Red, High street gold, avenue White, and mid-town grey. It also gets a new light and grey interior, and a sport mode. The Altroz iTurbo gets a number of new features like, push start and stop with smart key, iRA(intelligent Realtime assist), Natural voice tech enabling more than 70 commands in Hindi, a 7.0-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, apple car play, android auto, Anti-glare IRVM, Auto headlamps, rain-sensing front wipers, Auto climate control, cruise control, leather upholstery and cornering stability control, etc.
With the new iTurbo variant Tata will likely to rivals the likes of the recently launched 2020 1.0 Litre turbo petrol Hyundai I20 and Volkswagen 1.0 liter polo TSi. Tata expects the iTurbo to boosts Altroz sales by 10 percent.
