Hyundai is working on new 7-seater Creta based SUV as Creta being the most sold vehicle in India of its segment. Creta outsold the second in segment by a huge margin in November 2020. The Spied road test shots of 7-seater Hyundai Creta based SUV shows that it is the elongated version of 5-seater.

From the images, it can be seen that the rear end is elongated to adjust the last row. Tail gate gets the hatchback look with non-split tail lamps, bigger huge bumper and rear parking sensors.

As for the front, a new stud type grille can be seen instead of a mesh. The dual projector Headlamps at the side sitting right below LED DRLs. Below that Fog lamps are placed at the lower end of bumper. This car gets the rear as well as front parking sensors and rear parking camera is expected as well.

As for the body design, Side of the car seems approximately same to that of Creta except for the elongated part. The front bonnet design and look remains same apart from new grille. This car gets the same 17-inch alloy wheels from Creta. Interior of the car is not revealed yet but we can expect to see the 10.1-inch Hyundai Bluelink connectivity infotainment system, leatherette upholstery, sunroof, at least 4 airbags, rear AC ducts and a lot more.

The new 7-seater Creta is expected to get same engine and transmission from 5-seater version. The 1.4-litre petrol generating 140 hp and 1.5-litre Diesel generating 115 hp are going to power this car 7-seater as well. Also this vehicle will be available with manual and automatic transmission (Dual-Clutch transmission).

7-seater Creta is expected to launch at the end of next year or early 2022. Definitely, it will cost to rival Tata Gravitas, MG Hector plus, Mahindra XUV500 and Jeep compass.
