Electric two-wheeler manufacturer Revolt RV400 electric motorcycle prices are revised after the new amendment into the FAME II policy, which benefits the buyers as well as the manufacturer. According to the new amendment, the subsidy has been increased by 50% up to Rs 15,000 per kWh. By this initiative government hoping to boost electric mobility in the country. Many two-wheelers manufacturer has already revised their prices like TVS IQube, Ather 450X and 450 Plus, and now Revolt RV400 prices are cut shorts by Rs 28,000.

Revolt RV400 electric motorcycle is being retailed at a starting price of Rs 90,799 ex-showroom, New Delhi. Currently, the electric two-wheeler is being sold in six major cities, Chennai, New Delhi, Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad. According to recent reports, Revolt is expanding its network across more than 35 cities in India. However, the bookings for the EV have now restarted from yesterday, on its official website or nearest dealerships.

Revolt RV400 comes powered by a 3.24 kWh lithium-ion battery pack coupled with a 3 KW electric motor. The manufacturer claimed range for the EV is 150 Km in a single charge and can go up to 85 Kmph. It takes around 4.5 hours for the RV400 is get a full charge from 0 to 100 percent. There are three riding modes on bike – Eco, Normal, and sport, and can generate four types of IC engine artificial sound. The braking is handled by a 240mm disc brake on both wheels. After the revision, the EV is quite competitive in India as it is almost equivalent to a 150cc bike space price band.
