With the global reveal of its new compact SUV Renault Kiger, the company is all set to enter into the most happening segment with highly aggressive pricing. The company has also released its brand-new trailer which shows all of its details. The Renault Kiger will be launching in the Indian market in early March 2021.

As stated by the company the new Kiger will be priced very aggressively and may even undercut its cousin Nissan Magnite, which is currently priced at Rs 5.49 lakhs after the end of the introductory price which was earlier Rs 4.49 lakhs for the base variant.

Look and design

In terms of its looks and design, the car strongly resembles the Renault Kwid or can even be said as an SUV version of the Kwid. However, in some design aspects, the Kiger sands out from every car in that 5-10 lakh price segment, like tri-beam projector headlamps, LED DRLs above the headlamps housed separately, roof rails and much more. although the Kiger shares its CMF A+ platform with its counterpart Nissan Magnite.

In term of the interior, the Renault Kiger is mostly inspired by the Nissan Magnite with very few design changes like the positing of the AC vents, slight textures to doors, cup holder slider cover, and some basic differences. Alongside this, the company also boasts a huge 405-litre boot space which is expandable by flattening the rear seats.
