With the recent global launch sited in India, the new Renault Kiger has now stated arriving at the dealership ahead of official Indian launch. The car is destined to make it big in the Indian market with its pricing expected to undercut even its most fierce competitor the Nissan Magnite. The Kiger alongside the Magnite will be competing against the likes of Kia sonnet, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Vitara Brezza, and Tata Nexon.

The spied car here is a top variant judging by the features like the dual-tone silver-black colour and the dual-tone alloy wheels. For the interior featured in the spied image is a dual-tone black-grey colour with digital HVAC dials, steering mounted music and call controls. Most probably this Renault Kiger spied is the training version for the dealership which is solely meant for training the internal staff for the upcoming launch scheduled to happen in late February or early March.

As for the all-over design, it can be termed as a bigger SUV version of the Renault Kwid with a similar design but different features like the tri-beam headlamps, LED DRLs above the headlamps, sportier bumper, 3-stroke grilled divided by chrome Renault logo in the mid, and stylish C-shaped taillights. However, the platform on which the car is made is shared by its cousin Nissan Magnite. 

The new Renault Kiger comes with similar engine options as the Nissan Magnite having 2 engine variation first being the standard petrol variant and other the turbocharged petrol variant, which are coupled with either a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox or a 5-speed automatic transmission gearbox for each variant.

The Kiger also come with 3 driving modes to select from – Normal mode, sports mode, and eco mode.
