Toyota Kirloskar motors earlier this year introduced a midlife update to the overly famous Toyota Fortuner which earlier felt a bit outdated with its features and looks, however, the new update was not any small update and along with that, a range-topping variant of the Fortuner was also added along with the update which was named the Fortuner Legender. This range-topping variant also came with a quite premium price tag compared to the regular Fortuner with the biggest downside of the car being only available in the 2WD option. However, this now no longer is a drawback, now you can even modify your pre-facelift Fortuner into the Fortuner Legender and that is the case here, where a 2017 Fortuner is modified into the Fortuner Legender by a Delhi based modification house Crave Design.

Talking about the modifications, the 2017 Fortuner now gets a dual-tone Black-White colour, Legender identical bumper, Legender look-alike Grille, glossy black eyebrows over the headlamps, new black fog lamp housing, and a new set of LED headlamps with embedded LED DRLs identical to the Legender.

As for the sides, the ORVMs gets chrome highlights, chrome door handles, window visors and a thin black body cladding along the side, while the rear gets smoked glass taillights, the black strip with Fortuner written on it, that connects both the taillights similar to the original Legender and additional stop lamps are also provided on the black of the D-pillars. Aside from these modifications everything remains unchanged be it the interior or the powertrain.

The original Fortuner Legender is currently priced between Rs. 30.83 lakhs for the standard 2.7-litre petrol engine that is coupled with a Manual transmission gearbox and goes up till Rs. 38.30 lakhs for the 2.8-litre diesel engine which is coupled with an automatic transmission gearbox.
