As many global brands are moving towards a greener source of energy, many new start-ups, and mainstream brands are looking forward to introducing their best electric vehicle. The same things are happening in four-wheeler space as well. While the pace at which our country moving it’s a little slow but as per the CEO of Ola by 2025 Indian two-wheeler market will only produce electric bikes and scooters. On 15th August, the cab aggregator launched its much-awaited ola electric scooter in India, and rivals with many EVs like TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak EV, Ather 450X, and Simple one. While the main rival for Ola is Ather 450X. So, we put together the detailed comparison between Ola S vs Ather 450X: –
- Design and exterior styling
Both the scooter goes on a different approach for its styling like Ather energy looks more futuristic design while Ola Scooter looks more elegant and simpler. It uses more simple and inelastic design linings, although both features LED lightning, bigger clusters, and so on. While, Ather 450X has a bigger headlamp from an apron, along with contrast paints on exposed panels which looks smart. The Ola Scooter gets a small rear part with a charging port and a small LED taillight.
- Colour options
Ather 450X comes in four different color options – White, grey, green, and Series one (black with red contrast).
While Ola Scooter comes in more than 10 color paint jobs. Ola S1 comes in four colors and Ola S1 pro comes in ten color options.
- Features and electronics
The ola Scooter S1 pro comes with plenty of features like bigger 7-inch touchscreen infotainment which has inbuilt speakers, cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity, USB charger, navigation, OTA updates, 4G connectivity, theft alarm, and so on. While on the safe side it gets reverse gear, hill hold assists, proximity unlocks, side stand alert, tamper alert. Ola scooter S rides on 12-inch alloy wheels on both sides with 110 section rubber from MRF.
The Ather 450X comes with a load of features as well which includes a 7-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth connectivity, ride stats, remote access, vehicle tracking, and so on. A reverse mode is also on offer. A set of 90/90 is what Ather uses its 12-inch rims same as well. The under-seat storage is massive too at 22 liters While the scooter tips the scale at 108 kilos. It is lighter than Ola S.

As you can in the above table Ola Scooter S series has more power, torque, and riding range compared with Ather 450X. The Ola electric scooter has a bigger and better battery even the lower trim S1 has featured the same battery as in Ather but still features a more claimed riding range.
Ola Scooter S series price band is different in every state across India depending on the subsidy presented by states and central government. Ola S1 comes with a base price of Rs 99,999 ex-showroom, while the S1 Pro has priced at Rs 1.29 lakh. On another hand, Ather 450X comes priced at Rs 1.32 lakh ex-showroom. While the prices excluding taxes may vary state to state according to the subsidy benefits offered by state authorities.
