Its hasn’t even been a month to the launch of the new Nissan Magnite and the car has taken off to a 6 Month-long waiting period

The new Nissan Magnite was launched in India on 2nd December 2020 and since the launch, the car has been in news for all good reasons. Critics even said this car would be making a big stir in the Maruti Dominant segment. The Nissan Magnite was the only hope for the carmakers to stay in the Indian market. Every other Nissan car didn’t even perform average comparing the sale to its competitors. But the company’s plan for such an attractive price for a sub-4-meter SUV has been an overwhelming success.

Reason For this success

The success of Nissan Magnite can be seen by its sales figures since its launch. The car crossed over 5k booking in a mere 5-day mark which has been the biggest opening for Nissan in the Indian market. And just in 15 days, the Nissan Magnite has taken off to a 6 Month-long waiting period for the base trim version XE. On the other hand, the other trims have separate waiting period like for the Top XV premium automatic variant the waiting goes up to 2.5 months. And amongst these booking 60 per cent of them were for the Top 2 variants and 40 per cent of the total booking were from the online platform.

The main selling point of the car is its attractive price of Rs 4.99 lakh which when compared to its competitors is nowhere nearby. The company is providing a sub-4-meter SUV in a price range of a Hatchback car that makes the competition fiercer for even the best-selling cars like the Maruti Suzuki Swift and i20. The other thing that makes the car stand out is its first-in-class feature: a 360° camera which can nowhere be found below Rs 20 lakh mark and a wide 8.0-inch infotainment system.
