The December launched Nissan Magnite was the company’s first-ever blockbuster success in the Indian market which made the sale of the company skyrocket to YoY growth of 185%. Since the launch the Magnite has been in the news for various reason, and with this much success came the pressure of production for which the company is suffering till date with not even able to deliver the cars to the customers who booked their cars in the first month. However, this success also brought the opportunity for new and interesting modifications to be tested by the modification garages. One such opportunity was taken up by a Surat’s garage – Shah Car Décor which has modified the Nissan Magnite Base variant XE into something else.

Talking about the modified exterior the car gets a stock similar-looking silver and red coloured grille, red and silver bumper highlights, 16-inch alloy wheels with a red ring inside and red brake calliper, new shark fin antenna, glossy black ORVM, A-pillar and roof, and red rear gate lower cladding and interestingly all the lights like the indicators and taillights are all LEDs. The same pattern of red and silver continues for the interior as well the seats are wrapped in a matching red and black combination, the dashboard is red coloured with silver highlights and the steering wheel, door handles and gear lever also get a red and black treatment.

Now coming up to the added feature the car is modified with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with android connectivity, a starlight roof, and blue ambient lighting.

No mechanical changes have been made to this car and it still packs the base 1.0 litre naturally aspirated 3 cylinder petrol engine capable of generating 72hp and 96Nm at max, coupled with a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox. Taking about the modification price, the modifiers Shah Car Décor haven’t revealed their total cost for this modification, however, the car being the Nissan Magnite Base variant XE is priced at Rs 5.49 lakh, but the saddest part is the car still has a waiting period of about 10 months.
