Kia has been pretty upfront in revealing its cars and the same is for its new 2021 Next-Gen Kia Sportage, which was earlier rumoured to be realized last month however, the company has assured that the car will soon be making its debut in early June after which commencement of booking will open and will begin its production till the end of June 2021. Some spy shots of the car have arrived before all of this which has been rendered to a full detailed image revealing the major change new Kia Sportage will be carrying.
From the rendered images the front facia of the car can clearly be elaborated, the now will get a rather wide tiger-nose grille, the new Kia logo, a rather unique vertical LED DRL setup which will be housed in a triangular housing above which will be new sequential turn indicators. It will also comprise of a Dual LED headlamp setup and huge centralized air vents at the lower front bumper and fog lamps set up at either side, which are also place very low.
The roof shown in the rendered image showcases a dual-tone treatment with silver-coloured roof rails. The side-view mirrors and pillars are all painted in a contrasting black tone, a chrome lining over the windows and fancy character lines. The car will also be getting a new dual-tone alloy wheel.
Talking about the other aspects of the Next-Gen Kia Sportage, which will be sharing its underpinning with the new Hyundai Tucson and will be available in 2 variants – one being the 1.6-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine which also will consist of a hybrid power setup and the other being a more powerful top end 2.5-litre engine which will be capable of generating a power up to 300 hp.
