Hyundai has launched the new variant of its 4sub SUV Venue, the new Venue imt with a starting price of 9.99 lakh SX and SX(O) at 11.08 lakh and Hyundai has also introduced its Venue sports variant at 10.2 lakh.
What does iMT stands for?
iMT is an abbreviation of intelligent manual transmission which replaces the traditional 3 pedal system to a clutchless 2 pedal system. This system can also be considered as a semi-automatic transmission where the driver has to change the gear manually but the clutch is engaged automatically with the help of “intention sensors” as said by the makers.

As iMT being a new technology the Hyundai Venue iMT does not have much of a competition, although Hyundai is not the first one to showcase this technology in India as that tag goes to KIA sonnet compact SUV.
