Today the Japanese carmaker Honda has finally revealed its much-awaited New-Gen Honda Civic 2022, with this launch the car makes it into its eleventh generation since the first-gen Honda Civic. The new Civic was revealed by the carmaker earlier as a concept in November 2020, and the production-ready model has stayed pretty much the same with slight changes which even makes the car look even more elegant.
The images showcased by the company are of the flagship trim of the Honda Civic 2022, which carries the exact same concept design with matte black accents to the 3-stroke grille for both upper and lower part, along with that the Fog lamp housing also gets the same matte black treatment, adding to that are the sleeker headlamp with split light setup. For the sides the car gets changes as body-coloured door handles, side skirts and ORVMs, which replaces the old glossy black colour treatment, the windows now get a chrome lining rather than the black lining in the concept and the car now also carries set of new dual-tone alloy wheels.
The car now gets a sunroof however, wheatear it’s an electric or panoramic sunroof that is still unknown, along with that the car also gets a set of new front parking sensor which are placed above the grille and are hid perfectly that no one without a keep eye can notice it.
No revelation about the powertrain option or the interior have been announced by the company, however, the company did release its concept interior sketch, by which we can safely assume that the car will be taking a rather simple approach for the interior, which will include a plain soft-touch finished dash bord, an 8-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, and a fully digital instrument cluster.
The car with its launch on 28th April will be making its way to the American market till this summer.
