Today Mercedes has finally revealed its fifth-generation upgrade of its C-class in the Global launch. The new C-class is launched in both Sedan and Wagon versions with the various exterior, interior and mechanical changes. However, the looks of the new 2021 Mercedes-Benz C-class have leaked ahead of its launch in global media. Let us give a closer look at what new changes the new C-class brings.

2021 Mercedes-Benz C-class Exterior and Interior Design

As said at the launch the new 2021 Mercedes-Benz C-class is heavily inspired by the more premium W223 S-class and will carry many similar features as the later. The new C-class looks and feels more modern and premium than the current version with a new headlamp setup and a new mesh-designed chrome grille with Mercedes-Benz signature symbol at the centre. The sides remain the same and the rear greatly resembles the on-going S-class with Sleek and sharp looking long taillights and faux twin exhausts.

Talking about the interior the car gets a huge vertical touchscreen HD infotainment system which is tilted at a slight angle to give the driver a better look and feel, a large 10.25-inch horizontally floating digital instrument cluster, redesigned HVAC air vents with ambient lighting, and a colour heads-up display.

Engine options and rivals

The 2021 Mercedes-Benz C-class will be offered in various new engine options including the new mild hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrain options.
