MG British car manufacture has finally unveiled its much-awaited Mid-Size Astor for the Indian market. The SUV will compete against many other SUVs which are leading the segment with huge sales figures like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos. While German manufacturer also introduced their Mid-Size SUV Skoda Kushaq and a few days ago Volkswagen also launched Taigun for the Indian market. That being said, the latest entry MG Astor will have to work very hard to grab more attention to get a decent number in India. Currently, the Korean SUVs are leading the segment with unmatchable margins. MG Astor is essentially known as ZS in many global markets and has been in sale for over a year now. While what we have in India is a facelift version of the ZS EV in petrol powertrain options. While for the exterior design at the front it gets a Chrome inserted grilled with sun-shaped MG logo in middle and scattering style chrome inserts which looks amazing. It also gets a flanked type sharp-looking LED headlamp cluster with eight crystals, integrated with 27 HID bulbs. At the side, we have massive 17-inch dual-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels, along with thing black cladding on the lower part of the doors. Apart from that it also gets LED taillights and a pair of roof rails.
While talking about Skoda Kushaq it gets a handsome design as well. At the front, it gets a split headlamp cluster along with the signature Skoda grille. The side profile is even boxier as well and also features a LED lightning as well with L-shaped taillamps. Kushaq also gets massive good-looking 17-inch alloy wheels. Silver finished faux skid plate at front and rear bumper along with roof rails.

MG Astor will have the most premium best-looking interior dashboard compared to its competition in India. The dual-tone theme features an amazing color combination. It gets a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system enables with AI-assist, android auto, apple car play. Other than that, it gets a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, keyless entry, level 2 ADAS, electrically adjustable driver seat, 360-degree camera, I-smart connected technology, etc.
While Skoda Kushaq also gets a premium cabin as well along with a long list of features. It gets a 10.1-inch infotainment system enables with android auto apple car play, My Skoda connect, sunroof, ventilated seats, touch-enabled HIVAC, cruise control, etc.

Although, MG has yet to announce its price band in the coming days. While it is expected to start from Rs 10.59 lakh for the base trim and goes up to around Rs 19 lakh. While Skoda Kushaq is currently priced from Rs 10.49 lakh for base trim goes up to Rs 17.59 lakh ex-showroom New Delhi.
