Maruti Suzuki has been the leading carmaker for over a decade with no one taking its place even once or even coming close to it, the company as of now enjoys almost 50 percent of the total automobile shares in the Indian market. Maruti Swift has played a significant if not major role in this success. And after the recently increase in the competition Maruti has finally decided to launch their 3rd generation of its Swift which if going by the reports is going to be launched in march 2021.

The new partially camouflaged swift was spotted testing in Gujarat with a covered grille and an incompletely covered roof. Other than that, everything looks pretty ordinary and not so much appealing.

Now coming to the real changes that we can notice, the new Maruti Suzuki Swift 2021 carries almost the same front details as the previous version with exception of the covered front grille, which by going as the international facelift is going to have few chrome lateral bars in the grille. We can also notice here a dual tone red and black exterior which indicated the higher variants of the car will be coming with dual tone exterior colors along with new alloy wheels.

If going by the international version of the Maruti Suzuki Swift 2021 we will most likely be getting a touchscreen infotainment system as the car was equipped with a rear parking camera and a 360-degree camera too.

Looking for its powertrain option the Maruti will still be rocking the ongoing 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing an optimum power of 80bhp and torque of 113Nm at 4200rpm coupled with a 5-speed either manual or automatic transmission gearbox. And as for its diesel variant which was earlier discontinued at the time of the announcement of BS6 norms while not likely be returning any time soon.
