Both of the vehicles recently launched their BS6 updated variants in the market. Maruti Suzuki relaunched their S-Cross compact crossover last year with a 1.5 Litre petrol unit. While Honda also relaunched their WR-V updated with BS6 emission norms. In terms of size, S-cross has a 4300mm length, 1785mm width, 1595mm height, and 2600mm wheelbase. Although WR-V has a 3999mm length, 1734mm width, 1601mm height, and 2555mm long wheelbase. The S-cross is 301mm long and 51mm wider, but 6mm shorter than WR-V.

Earlier Maruti Suzuki S-cross comes with a diesel engine as well, as a petrol engine. As the new BS6 emission norms have been applied the company has to discontinue its diesel variant. Currently, S-cross offers a 1.5 litre 4-cylinder petrol engine, that produces 105 PS of maximum power and 138 Nm of peak torque. The transmission duties performed by a 5-speed manual gearbox and an optional 4-speed automatic gearbox system.

On the Other hand, WR-V powered with a smaller engine 1.2 Litre 4-cylinder petrol engine, which belts out 90 PS of peak power and 110 Nm of peak torque, when mated with a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox system. It also offers a 1.5-liter diesel engine which rated at 100 PS of power and 200 Nm of torque, transmission done by a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Safety features
In terms of safety features, S-cross comes equipped with a dual airbag, reverse camera, reverse parking sensor, ABS with EBD, speed reminder, front seat belt reminder, and hill assist control. On other hand, WR-V includes Dual frontal airbags, reverse camera, reverse sensor, a multi-view camera, driver side window pinch guard, seat belt reminder, and ABS with EBD.
Price
Currently, Maruti retails S-cross, with a starting price of Rs 8.39 lakhs for the base trim, and Rs 12.39 lakhs for Top-end trim. The Honda WR-V offered two petrol and two diesel variants, which has a starting price of Rs 8.49 lakhs for the starting variant and Rs 10.99 lakhs for the top variant (All the prices are Ex-showroom New Delhi).
