Maruti Suzuki 5-door Jimny was showcased in the 2020 Auto Expo, however, till now the carmaker hasn’t revealed any proper dates to the launch of this lifestyle off-roader. Even though the 5-door Jimny stands in a different segment, but will face its toughest competitor the 2021 Mahindra Thar. The new 2021 Thar doesn’t need any introduction to it as the car has been performing brilliantly since the launch and the car hasn’t seen a day of low sale, the sales for some variants of the Thar are so high, that in some states the waiting period on it exceeds even 11 months. On arrival of the new 5-door Jimny which most likely will be till the end of the year, the car will be locking horns with the Thar in the scarcest competitive segment. Feature comparison

the most underrated and looked over the thing in a lifestyle segment car is its interior and its features, however even then that new Thar packs some pretty amazing features over its previous model like, a touchscreen infotainment system which comes with smartphone connectivity and many off-roading hints, a MID at the centre of the instrument cluster, cruise control system, roof-mounted speakers, infotainment control over the steering, 6-way adjustable driver seat, power windows and much more. the car won’t disappoint you in any way.

The Suzuki Jimny also gets some pretty nice features like a touchscreen infotainment system with various connecting features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, LED Fog and Headlamps with separate LED DRLs, cruise control, a rear-view camera and much more.  


Maruti Suzuki hasn’t revealed the official price of the Jimny yet but the car most likely will be priced between Rs. 9 lakhs till Rs. 13 lakhs. While the Thar is Priced after the recent hike is at Rs. 12.10 lakhs and goes up till Rs. 14.15 lakhs for the top-end variant.
