Mahindra XUV300 sale finished at 8th rank of most sold SUV in the Indian market, during CY 2020, and top sold SUV by Mahindra and Mahindra

Mahindra and Mahindra UV’s sale has increased since the launch of XUV300. The brand model XUV300 finished CY2020 in the top 10 sold SUV and secured 8th position. It is possible because of the compact SUV trend that has been going in the last three years. The XUV300 was launched in February 2019, and the model gets more attraction. Currently, it is priced at Rs 7.94 lakhs to Rs 12.30 lakhs (Ex-showroom). In 2020 XUV300 garnered nearly 32,000 units in the period between February to December. It outsold the Ford Ecosport in the sales chart for the year, but it is far as compared with other top rivals like, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and Hyundai venue, but it finished closed to Kia Sonet, which was launched a few months ago. XUV300 sold 3,974 units in December 2020 against 2,132 units in the corresponding period in 2019, with 86 percent positive sales growth on a year-on-year basis. The SUV faced 11 percent De-growth in the sales compared won month-on-month basis, as 4,458 units were sold in November 2020. The Mahindra XUV300 based on the SsangYong X100’s platform with bigger dimensions compared with other rivals and offered in four variants, W4, W6, W8, and W8(O). As for features front, it includes top in segment features like Sunroof, cruise control, front sensors, rear sensors, back camera, 7-inch infotainment system, Dual-zone climate control, 7 airbags, 17-inch Diamond Cut alloy wheels, disc brakes on all wheels, and so on.

It is offered with one petrol engine unit and one diesel engine unit. The 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol motor, which generates 110 PS of maximum power and 200 Nm of peak torque, and 1.5 liters 4-cylinder D15 diesel engine which makes a debut on Mahindra Marazzo, and rated as 120 PS of maximum power and 300 Nm of peak torque.
