Mahindra Thar is a Jeep like sub-4m Compact SUV first launched in India in 2010. It was successor of Jeep CJ3 which was the first vehicle from Mahindra in 1953. Now, the all-new Mahindra Thar 2020 has been launched 15 August 2020 with improved features and design. The new model gives the soft and hard-top option to the customers also with the choice of petrol and diesel engine. Design is mildly changed giving the front a wider look with bold and heavy feel. Front vertical-slotted grille gets wider but shorter with the big silver skid plate at the bottom. Design of the new model made more aerodynamic rather than the straight c-pillars. Not just the design this car is also safe as heavy and cool as is looks. It scored a 4-star rating for both adult and child occupant in Global NCAP crash test rating.
Mahindra Thar is available in 2-trims, 2-transmission and 2-engine options. Also, the car is available with 4-Seater, 6-Seater, Soft-top, Hard-top and Convertible Option. Ex-showroom price of Thar ranges from Rs. 9.8 lakhs to Rs. 13.75 lakhs.

- 2.0 Litre mStallion 4-cylinder turbocharged Petrol engine generating 150-bhp power and 300-Nm torque.
