Mahindra officials rejected the discontinuation of their MPV Marazzo and entry-level KUV NXT 100 from the Indian line-up.

A recent report surfed through the web about the discontinuation of MPV Marazzo and Entry-level SUV KUV NXT 100 due to very low demand. This was the reason for not introducing the 1.5 Litre turbocharged petrol variant in Marazzo and could be used in an upcoming new generation of 5-seater XUV500. While Mahindra Officials reveals that Marazzo is not going anywhere from Indian line-up, it will continue as per brands guideline, in the recent interview with media outlets.
Mahindra and Mahindra officials also revealed that the MPV Marazzo will get a Mid-Life update, which will further expand the Marazzo variant list with the newly added auto shifts transmission gearbox system. Also, in replying to queries stated regarding the phase-out of Marazzo and entry-level KUV NXT 100, Mahindra Replied,” Marazzo and KUV 100 is an integral part of our portfolio. The fact is we have also launched the BS^ compliant version of the same. We keep updating our products from time to time and one could expect the same with Marazzo, to be launched with auto shifts transmission soon”.
Mahindra further stated that the global demand for Micro SUV KUV NXT has been increased, and it could be export only SUV. That being said, KUV NXT 100 electric version likely to launch next year as well. Mahindra also expects to bring eXUV300 in near future as well. The upcoming Mahindra Marazzo AMT will continue powering from a 1.5 Litre four-cylinder oil burner, which belts out 121 HP of maximum power at 3,500 Rpm and 300 Nm of peak torque at 1,750 to 2,500 Rpm. Currently, the MPV paired with a 6-speed manual transmission gearbox system as standard.
