Today Mahindra and Mahindra released its monthly sales chart for the month June 2021, and registered a third digit sales growth.

  • Mahindra planning to launch the new generation of Scorpio and new SUV XUV700 by the end of the year

Mahindra and Mahindra the homegrown automaker has released their monthly sales figures for the month of June 2021. Last month, Mahindra registered three digital positive sales growth on a monthly basis as well as on yearly basis as well. As the lockdown restrictions have been easing and dealerships across India are starting to open the things for the automaker are slowly going towards a good pace in terms of sales and future upcoming products from the brands. Almost, every automaker in India reported a positive sales growth last month.

Mahindra and Mahindra dispatched 16,913 units last month against 7,959 units that were sold in June 2020, with getting 113 percent positive sales growth on a year-on-year basis. While, as we compared it on a Month-on-month basis it gets a 111 percent positive growth as the brand registered 8,004 units in May 2021. Although the brand has got a strong number in terms of units, the market share held by the brand has lowered down a little. In June 2020 the manufacturer has a market share of 6.8 percent, which goes down to 6.6 percent in the last month.

While that being said the UV expert of India has an aggressive road map for future projects as well. The upcoming products likely to boasts the sales and market share of the brand in the Indian market. The manufacturer is expected to launch XUV700 in October 2021, and the production likely to begin from this month itself. Although, the Mid-Size SUV XUV500 has temporarily being discontinued by the brand. The XUV700 likely to comes with features loaded as it was seen in some spied images as well, and likely to power with a 2.0 Litre turbo petrol and 2.2 Litre turbo diesel engine.
