Mahindra and Mahindra posted 27,603 units in the month of March 2022 against 16,643 units during the same month 12 months back with year-on-year sales growth by over 66% stop
Mahindra and Mahindra recorded cumulatively domestic sales of 27,603 units in the month of March 2022 as against 16,643 units were sold during the same month last year with a massive year on year sales increase by 66%. However, compared to the previous month February 2022 Mahindra soon 27,663 units and the brand recording and near-flat growth in the domestic market.
The homegrown SUV specialist finished 4th in the overall car manufacturers sales standing behind Maruti Suzuki Hyundai and Tata Motors and was nearly 5000 units clear of the net next 5th placed Korean brand kia. Mahindra held on the market share of around 8.6% against 5.2% with gain of 3.4% on year-on-year basis. The company’s recent launches are definitely performing well which are second generation Mahindra thar and recent launch Mahindra xuv 700.
Mahindra introduced the second generation thar in late 2020 while the long awaited XUV700 debut just last year and both the SUV has a waiting period of around 12 months and over 50,000 bookings have already been made already. Recent reports indicate that Mahindra will likely to launch the electric version of KUV 100 by the end of this year. Furthermore, electric version of xuv 300 will reportedly introduced in early 2023 and it could be carried production name of xuv 400. By the middle of this year Mahindra will unveil the 3 brand electric prototype and they have been teased over the last few months. In the coming month Mahindra likely to launch the new generation of Scorpio as well.
