Royal Enfield premium two-wheeler manufacturer unveiled its limited-edition Classic 500cc tribute black in limited units.

Royal Enfield announced the launch of its special edition Classic 500cc tribute black in the Australian market and New Zealand market. To make this offering more unique and attractive to customers, the brand made it limited to only 240 units. The special edition tribute black priced from AUD 9,590 (converted to Rs 5.37 lakh approximately). Interested buyers can p [re-orders their one by official website before 11:59 pm, June 23 2021.

The motorcycle will be manufactured at Oragadam, Tamil Nadu and will be shipped overseas. The classic 500cc Tribute black features a leather seat and a blackened engine area. To make it more special a serial number plaque is also hand-painted with royal Enfield pinstripes Y Kumar brothers. The bike was previously launched in the Indian market back in February 2020 but got discontinued by the manufacturer due to BS6 norms which came into effect on 1st April 2020. Same engine and mechanical parts are used for the Australian specification as well.

Royal Enfield Classic 500 tribute black comes powered by a 499cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, which belts out 27.2 BHP of maximum power at 5,250 Rpm and 41.3 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 Rpm. The powertrain comes coupled with a 5-speed transmission gearbox system. The bike rides on Telescopic front forks and a twin gas-charged rear suspension system. The braking is handled by a 280 mm front disc brake and a 240 mm single rear disc brake mated with a dual-channel ABS system. Recently, RE launched the Meteor 350 in overseas markets as well. As for the future, new-generation Classic 350 is in making and the launch is scheduled for July 2021, which features a new J platform.
