Most of the special and limited-edition BMW series are specific to the Japanese audience and even this time the Japanese audience wouldn’t be disappointed by the two new BMW exclusive limited-edition 8-series Frozen Black and the X5 Pleasure.
The most basic question one asks about the limited editions is, what is so special about these ones and answer this basic question we have is a very basic answer, that the whole car is black be it its frozen black paint as the company calls it, all black kidney grille, blacked-out 20-inch light alloys, window shades and blacked out M sport brake callipers, everything is black both inside and out. And if you are a person who loves the black ambience then you might fall in love with these limited-edition cars which will be going on sale till the end of June 2021.
As for the insides, these cars get black M Sport seats, black leather upholstery, a BMW Individual Alcantara roof liner, BMW Individual piano black trim and not only that but the car is also complemented with Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System.
The limited Frozen Black Edition is available on both 8-Series Coupe and 8-Series Gran Coupe body types, with only 5 units made for the former one and only 15 units for the latter one. As for the engines, both of these cars are available only in 840i trim that is offered with a 3.0-litre straight-6 engine which can generate up to a maximum power of 335 hp and a max torque up to 500 Nm. The limited BMW 8-Series Frozen Black coupe will be available with a price tag of $135,385 (just above Rs. 1 crore) while the Gran Coupe will be available at $136,288 (Just above Rs. 1.01 crore). The X5 is a tad bit cheaper will be offered at $93,687 (about Rs. 70 lakhs).
