Hyundai Worldwide has finally unveiled its luxury sub-brand Genesis GV60 electric SUV specifications with up to 451 Km range in a full charge.

Hyundai unveiled its sub-luxury brand Genesis GV60 electric SUV specifications for the Korean market. Earlier the manufacture only revealed their production version images a few weeks back. The GV60 EV will shares the same E-GMP platform with Hyundai IONIQ 5 and Kia EV6, which were launched in South Korea a few months back. Although IONIQ 5 and Kia EV6 are scheduled to launch in the Indian market next year, these are only the speculation no official confirmation has been made till now. Talking about the battery and motor options genesis GV60 electric SUV will be offered in both single and double motor setups along with a sole 77.4 KWh battery pack.

Genesis GV60 specifications revealed

The base standard variant single motor setup develops the maximum power output of 225 HP and 350 Nm of peak torque. While the double motor setup coupled with AWD configuration and develops the combined power output of 314 HP and a 605 Nm of torque. Single motor setup available in the rear-wheel-drive configuration. There is also an AWD-only performance variant that generates 429 HP of massive power and 605 Nm of peak torque in one of the sports modes. Genesis also offered a unique Drift mode with GV60 but the manufacturer doesn’t reveal much about the said mode. Apart from that genesis also added another unique Boost mode which has a top power of up to 483 HP. In Boost mode, the SUV will generate a peak torque of 705 Nm.

Genesis GV60 specifications revealed

The Boost Mode is mounted on the steering wheel for dedicated more performance and as the name suggests gives a boost to the SUV. However, it works as a Nitro because it will only last 10 seconds after the pressing Button. This mode can take GV60 from 0 to 100 Kmph in just 4 seconds. While on another hand Kia EV6 can sprint from 0 to 100 Kmph in 3.5 seconds. In genesis GV60 the sole 77.4 KWh battery pack is offered for both the motor setup. The battery supports fast charging at 350 KW and can charge GV60 from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes. The GV60 also supports bidirectional charging up to 3.5 KW. As per the Korean range certification for Single motor setup SUV can run 451 Km and for the AWD variant, it can run up to 400 km in a single charge. Although, the performance AWD variant can go up to 368 km in a single charge.
