Starting from tomorrow the hike prices will be in action for major car companies like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, MG Motors, Nissan, and many more, reports have come regarding Hyundai price hiked up to about Rs 30k.

After Maruti Suzuki Hyundai is the only one that has maintained its cars in each month Top 10 sold cars even in the pandemic times. And as the year is at its last few hour car companies are readying their cars for a hike starting 1st January. However, this hike is a regular practice by car companies that occurs at the start of every year owing to higher material costs and exchange rate fluctuations. Although the customer would be paying all these increased costs in some way or the other but not only that, customers would also have to compensate for the atrocities the company had to face in this COVID-19 pandemic time.

This year Hyundai introduced some major facelifts and car upgrades to its major sellers like the Creta got its 2020 variant and the i20 also got its 2020 upgrade. Also, Verna and Tucson too got minor facelifts. As of now, Hyundai enjoys a line-up of 11 cars in the Indian market comprising of Santro, Grand I10, Grand I10 Nios, I20, Venue, Creta, Tucson, Kona Electric, Aura, Verna, and Elantra.

Amongst these price hike i20 has the least hike of Rs 7,521 and for the highest price hike we have the new Verna with a price hike of Rs 32,880. The CNG variant of the car listed above will be getting a bigger hike than their counterparts.
