Hyundai recently announced a price hike a few weeks back on many of its models from Hyundai Santro to the so-called best SUV of the company Hyundai Creta. Hyundai Grand i10 Nios was also one of which has received a price hike. The reason for this price hike is said to be the increased cost of raw materials and the transportation of it, which directly or indirectly has to be paid by the customer.

The price hike on each of its variant lies between Rs. 2,000 to Rs. 5,000, to be specific the variants Era, Sportz and Sportz dual-tone all have gone a price increment of Rs. 4,000. The variants Nios Sportz Turbo and Sportz Turbo Dual-tone both get a marginal hike of Rs. 2,000 while the rest of the variant gets a price hike of Rs. 5,000 each with exception of the Magna variant which hasn’t gone through any increment.
