Hyundai Grand i10 is now no longer available on the official site of Hyundai and some dealers even confirming this by telling us that there isn’t any new stock provided for it and no information that if it will be available again or not, leading to a fair assumption of Hyundai Grand i10 discontinued.

This step taken by the company can be in a way justified as the company Hyundai has decided to trim down its NPA to boost its profits. And as we know the Grand i10 has been in stock for quite a long time as the car was a second-generation variant of the i10 lineup and also a bigger version of the i10 which at that time provided some first in class features. The car was for sure not a Non-profitable Asset (NPA) for Hyundai as the car since its launch in mid-2013 had seen a great demand till date. However, Hyundai is now more focused on its mid-range car like the i20, Venue, and Creta the reason being these cars are more in demand and provide better profits for the company.

After the discontinuation of the Grand, i10 Hyundai is now only left with 3 more hatchbacks in their lineup being the Santro, Grand i10 Nios, and i20.

The Discontinued Hyundai Grand i10 was first introduced as the 2nd generation and bigger version of the earlier first Gen i10. The car came with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine capable of producing max power of 82bhp@6000rpm and optimum torque of 114Nm@4000rpm, coupled with a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox.

Other than the Grand i10 some other cars are also discontinued by Hyundai; these cars are Corporation limited edition of Santro and Grand i10 Nios. These cars were added to the lineup to boost the sales in the festive season. The 1.0-litre turbocharged edition with manual transmission of the Venue is also discontinued alongside the others.
