This year has been the year for SUVs with more than 10 SUV facelift or update launches since the start of 2021. And with the pandemic situation normalizing out the growth in the automotive sector has been tremendous and sales reaching some all-time new heights. One such car among these launches is the new Hyundai Alcazar or the 7-seater Creta which is scheduled to be revealed on April 6 and with its launch planned later in May 2021.

The new Alcazar has been in news every alternate day, be it for its spy shots, design sketch or some other leaks, the car doesn’t stop sneaking into headlines. And for today the Hyundai Alcazar has again made into news with its unofficial bookings open at select dealerships. However, the company hasn’t revealed any news regarding the bookings opening early, and according to them the officially booking will commence next month onwards and will start delivering those orders from June 2021.

According to reports some dealerships have even posted on their social media status regarding the commencement of Alcazar’s unofficial bookings. While this action may be due to the market hype about the upcoming SUV, and to get a head start for the bookings as the car being a bigger version of the best-selling Hyundai Creta which got overbooked within few days of the launch.

As for the specification of the Hyundai Alcazar, most of the specifications about the car are revealed by some design leaks and some from the design sketch. However, the truthfulness of these specs is not 100% to the last decimal. Although, for the exterior design changes the new Alcazar will get a new front grille design which resembles that of the company’s flagship Hyundai Palisade, new taillight design, slightly tweaked front and rear bumper, new alloy wheel design, and a large rare overhang.

Talking about the engine option which is kept similar to its 5 seater counterpart which comes with a total of 3 engine options; 1.5-litre diesel and petrol engine along with the 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine.
