Royal Enfield first launched the interceptor 650 and continental GT 650 back in January 2018. Since the launch, the motorcycles are having a lot of success in the Indian market and overseas as well. Royal Enfield’s simple architecture lets the motorcycles enthusiasts have some unique ideas about the modification. Royal Enfield recently introducing the same in the global markets and having a lot of success as well. As, such we have plenty of modified Royal Enfield bikes, seen in India as well as internationally and it is one of them. Interceptor 650 modified into Scrambler design coming from the UK-based workshop.
Here, we have the royal Enfield Interceptor 650 modified into the beautiful scrambler one. It is built by Sold out motorcycles based in Manchester, UK. This modified Interceptor 650 features plenty of visual changes. At the front, the round halogen headlamp with a mesh guard, along with different clamps on front forks and headlamp brackets as well. This modification includes a custom single pod instrument cluster (Semi digital). The single-piece handlebar gear lever and the clutch and brakes are aftermarkets set up. Along, with that, the bike consists of bar end indicators at the front which cleans up the design and looks decent. The side panels are also new featured with tiny vents and a dual rear shock absorber.
As for performance, we aren’t sure about the mechanical changes. Currently, Royal Enfield retails Interceptor 650 with a 648-cc single cylinder air/oil-cooled engine, which belts out 48.65 PS of maximum power and 52 Nm of peak torque. The powertrain comes paired with a 5-speed transmission gearbox system, along with slipper and clutch assists as standard as well. The fuel tank sports a beautiful Dual tone paint job – Silver and olive, along with front and rear fenders boasts with silver color. The bike frame has cut shortened and bend over the rear end, with a custom single-piece seat. The bike also gets a chunky tire and a smaller custom exhaust compared with the stock one.
