The Harley Davidson LiveWire brand will reportedly unveil their first electric bike named the LiveWire one. It has been coming out through VIN (vehicle identification number) information about the electric bike the brand has submitted to the united states national highway traffic safety administration and the launch according to VIN has been scheduled for 8th of July 2021. Although, the official announcement hasn’t been done by the brand. While the expected date may vary from time to time until the exact date has been announced. It should be interesting to see that the brand followed the retro-styled design or add some new modern theme to the EV.

According to the VIN filing administrative, the LiveWire one would have the maximum power output of 101 HP. Harley Davidson LiveWire one listed to have a power output of 70 HP. Internally codenamed as the XB carrying the model number of LW1. Model number 1 has been inspired by the first-ever model name of Harley bike years called Model 1. The American two-wheeler manufacturer appears to have gone to its roots with LW1 as the same theme followed with its electric bicycle brand, serial 1. More details and specifications other than power output haven’t been revealed yet.

Although, the brand previously said that the LiveWire will lift off the covers from its first electric bike on July 8, 2021, at the international motorcycle show at Five-point Amphitheatre Irvine, California. While it couldn’t happen anymore as only musical concerts will be hosting there throughout the year. While no official date been announced, it may break cover at Sonoma, California between July 16 and July 18. Harley Davidson saw a decline in sales in the recent past at the global level, but the electric brand could turn things around for the company. Not too long ago, the brand has stopped its operations in India, before making a deal with Hero MotoCorp for further proceedings.
