Tata Nexon compact SUV for the first time since its Indian market launch surpasses the 10000 milestones in a single month.

Tata Motors launched the compact SUV Nexon back in 2017, and since its launch, it is one of the most popular compact SUVs in India. Over the month SUV has registered a decent sales number for the brand. Tata Nexon was the first-ever domestically produced vehicle to get awarded with a 5-star crash test safety rating from Global NCAP and is the most affordable, safest SUV one can buy in India. Last month, for the first time since the launch tata, sold 10,287 units of Nexon in a single month.
Recently, Tata has i0ntroduced a facelift version of Nexon, Tiago, Tigor, and harrier with a host of updates and enhancements. It should be noted that continuously adding new products and continuously updating the products has been the key to success for the manufacturer. This has been very useful for the brand to maintain its status as the third most sold carmaker in the country in terms of monthly sales. While the company also sells the electric version of Nexon which in recent times has had a great demand and the bestselling EV last year.
Tata Nexon directly competes against – ford EcoSport, XUV300, Vitara Brezza, venue, and many SUVs in India. Compact SUV Space is the most crowded and popular segment currently in the Indian market. As for performance the SUV comes powered by both petrol and diesel engine – 1.2 Litre turbocharged Revotron petrol engine and 1.5Litre turbocharged diesel engine. The former belts out 120PS of power and 170 Nm of torque, while the latter develops 110PS of power and 260Nm of torque. the powertrain comes paired with a standard 6-speed MT and an optional 6-Speed AMT.
